Eye Shadow Comparisons
There are still several brands I need to add but heres a start.
Rating: 5/10 (5/5 color payoff, with a miserable fallout)
Brand: Urban Decay
Color: Protest
Size: 1.2 grams
Price: unk
Experience: Shimmery mineral makeup stored in a spill proof metal bottle with a brush cap. While i love this color and the payoff it gives, there is way to much fallout and I end up frustrated every time I use it. Regardless, UD is still my favorite brand.

Experience: Plastic potted metallic goodness. Steel grey and more shimmery on my skin than in the pot. Lovely color. UD is my favorite brand.
Rating: 10/10
Brand: Urban Decay
Color: ACDC

Experience: Plastic potted metallic goodness. Shimmery bruise color in the pot but goes on like a navy. UD is my favorite brand.
Rating: 10/10
Brand: Medusa's Makeup
Color: Amulet
Size: 2 grams
Price: $13
Experience: Love this vegan and cruelty free company. Love that their monthly beauty box is only $16 with free shipping for 3-5 full size products. The shadow is full of knockout color thats easy to apply and hangs on for dear life. The only issue with Amulet is that it looks grey in the capsule and brown on skin.
Rating: 10/10
Brand: Medusa's Makeup
Color: Midnight Oil
Size: 2 grams
Price: $13
Experience:Love this vegan and cruelty free company. Love that their monthly beauty box is only $16 with free shipping for 3-5 full size products. The shadow is full of knockout color thats easy to apply and hangs on for dear life. This navy blue color looks very similar to the Sugarpill Velocity.
Rating: 10 (nuff said)
Brand: Sugarpill
Color: Velocity
Size: 4 grams
Price: $13.00
Experience: This navy shadow has a lite shimmer and a hell of a lot of color. Staying power is awesome and there is little to no fallout. High quality for the retail price. Lack of animal testing and $6.00 shipping make this a 10.
Rating: 10/10 (5/5 staying power, 5/5 pigment)
Brand: Mac
Color: Talent Pool
Size: 1.5 grams
Price: $16
Experience: A beautiful color and quickly becoming a top drawer shadow. This is a true mermaid color somewhere between aqua and teal.
Rating: 9/10 (5/5 staying power, 4/5 pigment)
Brand: E (eyes) L (lips) F (face)
Color: Teal Tease
Size: 47 grams
Price: $3.00
Experience: This is really a liner but its a very creamy, highly pigmented product and easy to apply as a shadow. It comes in small glass pot with a small brush and for the price, and even twice the price, no one has a better potted cream shadow than E.L.F.
Rating: 8/10 (5/5 staying power, 3/5 pigment)
Brand: E (eyes) L (lips) F (face)
Color: Toast
Size: Unk
Price: $3.00
Experience: Love, love, lovey dove dove this color. Super blend-able which means it rubs around pretty easily even after drying which it never really does. It doesn't really rub off either though which is good. It comes on a plastic pot instead of glass like my other ELF potted shadows but still, this is a top drawer shadow!
Rating: 8/10 (4/5 staying power, 4/5 pigment)
Brand: Too Faced-Matte Hazelnut from the matte Chocolate Chip palette
Color: Hazelnut (medium brown)
Size: unk
Price: $25/palette
Experience: This is a really nice brown with lots of pigment and staying power. A diaper wipe left some color behind and I had to use eye makeup removed to get it all off
Rating: 7/10 (5/5 staying power, 2/5 pigment)
Brand: Mac
Color: Bitter Velvet
Size: 1.5 grams
Price: $16
Experience: I want to like this. I like green eyeshadow, its blendable and a pretty color but its just not as vibrant as my other green shadows. I like that it sticks around all day.
Rating: 5/10 (5/5 color payoff, with a miserable fallout)

Rating: 5/10 (3/5 staying power, 2/5 pigment)
Brand: E (eyes) L (lips) F (face)
Color: Aint That Sweet/Let It Go
Size: 5.5 grams
Price: $3.00
Experience: Notice there are 2 names for this pretty light pink icing colored shadow. They are exactly the same but ELF has branded Aint That Sweet as Let It Go as part of their Disney/Frozen product line. Ive had the Disney version for more than a year and havent noticed and product degradation. I do have to use my finger to apply as I dont get even application with a brush. The other issu I have is I haven't been able to pair this with anything else as I cant really blend it so I wear it on my lids.
Rating: 5/10 (4/5 staying power, 1/5 pigment)
Brand: Too Faced
Color: Unicorn Tears (holographic light blue/pink)
Size: 2.5 grams
Price: 1 of 4 items in the LE Unicorn Tears set; $26/set
Experience: Ugh, I realized after reviewing this product as a shadow that this is really a highlighter so while it sucks as shadow, it positively rocks as a highlighter. Note that Paris Hilton has a lipgloss and highlighter set called Astro Purple and the highlighter in that set is very close in color and experience as the much more expensive but a lot cuter Too Faced version.
Rating: 3/10 (1/5 staying power, 2/5 pigment)
Brand: Too Faced
Color: Firefly
Size: 1.7 grams
Price: $18
Experience: I had really high hopes for this as it is a perfectly lovely, shimmery gold but there is almost no staying power. It brushes right off but I gave it a 1 because the loose glitter lasted longer than any other shadow I tested.
